Writing 4: My resolutions for the rest of 2011

It´s time to change! I need to change some things in my life to become a better person.

First, I´m going to start exercising. Next, I´m going to make a plan to organize my time. After that, I want to start thinking positively.

Then, I´m going to stop eating fast food, because I went to eat healthy food.

Finally, I want to studying more English.

I´m not going to give up. The best things are coming!

Writing 3: Biography of an important person :)

Selena Quintanilla

·         Selena Quintanilla was a famous singers.

·         She was born in Lake Jackson, Texas.

·        She studied in The American School of Correspondence in Chicago, Illinois.

·        She started singing at the age of three; when she was nine her father founded the singing group Selena y Los Dinos, which she fronted.

·       In 1990, Selena released another album, Ven Conmigo, written by her brother and main songwriter A.B. Quintanilla. This was the first Tejano album recorded by a female artist to achieve gold status.

·       Selena released another album in 1992, Entre a Mi Mundo. Songs from that album, such as "Como La Flor", helped make Selena a star.

·      Selena released her next album, Amor Prohibido, in 1994. The album was nominated for another Grammy award for Mexican-American Album of the Year.

·      Selena and her band continued to receive accolades; Billboard's,  Premio Lo Nuestro awarded them six prestigious awards including Best Latin Artist and Song of the Year for "Como La Flor".

·      She died on March 31, 1995.

·    She died there from blood loss at 1:05 pm, two weeks before her 24th birthday. The cause of death was internal bleeding and cardiac arrest. Saldívar entered her red pickup truck, where she held police at bay while holding a gun to her left temple. She surrendered peacefully to the police after nine and a half hours.^[  By that time hundreds of fans had gathered at the scene, many of them weeping as police took Saldívar away.

Writing 2: My experience

Two years ago, i took a trip with my family. First, I arrived in Guanajuato. After that, I went to the Mommy´s museum. Later, I went to the restaurant. Next, I took pictures to all the city. It was amazing and interesting city. Finally, I went to the Hotel.

Writing 8: My favorite restaurant.

My favorite restaurant is Panda Grill. There is only one restaurant in Victoria City. The location is on Fidel Velazquez Avenue next to GranD central Mall.

It is a healthy food restaurant. The food is excellent if you like sushi, rice Gohan special or chicken almond. You can eat different kind of sushi for example: astro roll, sushi cheese cream, eddo roll, etc.

The prices are average. I recommend the sushi astro roll with rice special and Cooke. I love it!

There ir music and Television, too.

Writing 7: Ordering in a restaurant.

Waiter: Good morning. Are you ready to order?
Sofia: Yes. I´d like the hotcakes, please.
Waiter: What would you like to drink?
Sofia: I want a strawberry milkshake, please.
Waiter: Ok. I´ll be right back with your breakfast.
Sofia: Ok.
Waiter: This is your breakfast. Would you like to ask something more?
Sofia: Yes, I´d like the maple Butter Blondie when I finish my breakfast, please.
Waiter: Ok, I´ll go to prepare it. Would you like another milkshake?
Sofia: No, thank you. I prefer an orange juice.
Waiter: How was your breakfast?
Sofia: It´s super delicious! Can you bring me the check? Please.
Waiter: Yes, it´s $15.00 dlls.
Sofia: Ok, thank you.
Waiter: You´re welcome! Have a nice day!

Victor:  Hi Sofi. How are you?
Sofia: Hello! I´m fine and you?
Victor: Fine thank you! What are you doing?
Sofia: Nothing. I´m watching TV. What about you?
Victor: I´m doing my homework, but would you like to go to the Applebee’s´?
Sofia: Yes, sure. I´d like.
Victor: Ok. I pick you up at 9:00 pm.
Sofia: Ok! See you later friend.
Victor: Bye!

To whom it may concern-

I want to participate in the contest “the most talented at the cellap” and I think I´m the best candidate for that. I´m honest and I´m including the things I can´t do, too.

*Things I can do:

I love music. I can sign well. I can dance very well. I can cook cakes. I can drive very well and fast. I can play basketball. I can play chess. I can make milkshakes, strawberry is my favorite.

*Things I cannot do:

I can´t play soccer. I can´t play any musical instrumental but I want to play the piano. I can´t drive standard. I can´t speak many languages. I can´t sing opera, and I can´t cook French food.
